Abstract

MCU-RFFI/A is a general-purpose Monte Carlo code for solving neutron transport problems in the energy range between 20 MeV and 10-5 eV. The main applications of the MCU-RFFI/A include nuclear safety assessments, nuclear data validation, design calculations, verification of design codes. Validation of MCU-RFFI/A for applications to plutonium systems and verification of physics codes for VVER reactors using MOX fuel are described.
