Abstract

Radon causes lung cancer in the miner population occupationally exposed underground to mine air of uranium mines [13] or ore mines [4, 5]. There were reports about higher incidence of lung cancer also from ore mines of Slovakia and there was a tendency to ascribe the higher incidence of this cancer to the radon exposure underground [68].
