Abstract
We start this chapter with a brief overview of traditional Markov/Gibbs image models and then present new Markov and non-Markov models with multiple pairwise pixel interactions. These latter models proposed first in (Gimel’farb, 1996a)–(Gimel’farb, 1997a) generalize the traditional models in the following directions.
