Abstract

In the numerical solution of applied mathematical problems with the aid of a computer, we deal with files of computed numbers (NF). Some solution techniques are based on procedures that translate an analytical approach into numerical language. It is only natural, therefore, that efforts are being directed to providing a mathematical operation with a program that simulates this operation in a numerical way. On the other hand, the way in which numerics work can be “transformed” into some kind of approximate analytics, which may be useful for seeking answers to certain engineering questions.
