Abstract
The present paper is a visualisation study of the patterns of a flow in a channel in which longitudinal vortices are generated by winglets. Subject of this paper is the presentation of vortex patterns visualised by the method of hydrogen bubble technique in comparison with a study in which the vortices were generated by the same geometric winglet configuration and the flow visualised by particle seeding. The hydrogen bubble technique shows certain states of spatial development of the vortices at the Reynolds numbers ReH=320 and ReH=370. The flow visualisation was recorded on photographs and video.
