Abstract
Any type of interventional technique on peripheral vessels includes a certain risk of complications which afford immediate or delayed surgical repair [1]. The main indications for a surgical intervention are listed in Table 1. Not every hematoma at the puncture side affords a surgical control. But surgery is indicated in the presence of a pulsating hematoma which results frequently in the formation of a false aneurysm. The best diagnostic approach is a duplex scan investigation.
