Abstract
Few people like taking prescribed medication. In hypertension, additionally, a considerable proportion of the population have blood pressures hovering around the level at which the benefits of medication are less than spectacular. For these combined reasons, non-pharmacological interventions receive great interest from a number of patients and those looking after them.
