Pollutant Transport Studies in the Paraíba Do Sul River, Brazil

  • Chapter
Book cover Water Pollution: Modelling, Measuring and Prediction

Abstract

This paper describes the development of a computer system for water quality modelling with particular reference to the Paraiba do Sul river in Brazil. Also discussed in detail are “in-situ” measurements of the dispersion characteristics of the river using dye tracers.
