Zusammenfassung
Mit einer Sekundäraluminiumproduktion von ca. 1,6 Mio Tonnen ist die Europäische Gemeinschaft der größte Sekundäraluminiumhersteller der Welt, gefolgt von Japan mit rund 1,03 Mio t und den USA mit ca. 1,03 t. Mengenmäßig dürfte die UdSSR, worüber leider keine Produktionszahlen vorliegen, ebenfalls in der Spitzengruppe liegen. Innerhalb Westeuropas weist Deutschland mit ca. 560.000 jato in 1990 die höchste Produktion auf.
