Changes in Structure, Texture and Physical Properties of Pan-Fibers during Heat-Treatment

  • Chapter
MICC 90

Abstract

An increased requirement for carbon fibers has brought about a large number of works related to studies of structural transformations during a carbon fiber heat-treatment. The present-day knowledge of the structure and mechanism of thermal transformations of carbon fibers from polyacrylonitrile is elucidated in work [1].
