Abstract
The assumption of uniform states of strain in most conventional tests carried out on anisotropic specimens is questionable. The present paper deals with a method allowing the determination of elastic bending compliances of laminates from tests giving rise to non-uniform states of strain. Data are presented from experiments performed on two laminates of two different stacking sequences.
