Abstract
This paper will present two applications of a fourth generation programming language, called Labview.
Both applications consist of acquisition and -analysis of data obtained from static and dynamic mechanical tests for characterization of composite materials.
Both programs are analysed in detail and results from static and dynamic loading applied on rectangular carbon- and glassfiber reinforced specimens are presented.
An attempt to monitore the evolution of phase-shift between stress and strain during fatigue will be described.
