Elastic-Plastic Anisotropic Behaviour Resulting from Microheterogeneity

  • Conference paper
Anisotropy and Localization of Plastic Deformation

Abstract

This paper is devoted to the macroscopic behaviour resulting from elastic-plastic homogenization in an heterogeneous elastic-plastic multiphase material. Thermodynamic formulation of the homogenized behaviour obtained from Voigt’s model will be extended to some simple cases (layered and fibreous structures). A generalized anisotropic kinematic hardening will be shown to provide an appropriate framework for describing heterogeneous elastic-plastic multiphase material.
