Effect of Triaxial Tension on Flow Localization for Different Plastic Spins

  • Conference paper
Anisotropy and Localization of Plastic Deformation

Abstract

Corotational stress rates involving different constitutive laws for the plastic spin are introduced into a material model for combined isotropic—kinematic hardening of a porous ductile solid. The model is used to study the localization and post-localization behaviour in shear bands for various levels of the stress triaxiality.
