Abstract
The background, the present situation and the barriers in utilizing renewable energies are briefly analyzed. A call for new ideas is raised for overcoming existing impediments. The structures are spotlighted in which renewable energy R&D is carried out. An appeal is made to review and to debate new structures for conducting such R&D.
