Résumé
Cet article résume une série de quatre conférences données à Brasov en septembre 1989 qui ont pour but de donner un aperçu de la théorie des D-modules introduite par M.Sato, T.Kawai et M.Kashiwara pour ªl’analyse algébrique« des équations aux dérivées partielles et de questions qui s’y rattachent. Accompagnée de la définition des microfonctions et des méthodes de localisation que rendent possibles les opérateurs microdifférentiels analytiques, elle fournit l’outil le plus puissant pour l’étude du formalisme algébrique des équations différentielles ou aux dérivées partielles. Cette théorie peut paraître inutile ou lourde si on ne pense qu’à une équation aux dérivées partielles particulière; mais elle devient très efficace et même indispensable pour la plupart des questions qui concernent les systèmes de plusieurs équations aux dérivées partielles, ainsi que dans toutes les questions concernant les changements de variables ou les restrictions pour de tels systèmes.
