Abstract

The maintenance of quality in an advanced engineering analysis system like BEASY (Boundary Element Analysis System) is a major concern both to their developers and users. The demand for additional capabilities by users, changes in computer hardware and software maintenance requirements make the task of maintaining quality and reliability a very difficult and expensive operation. This paper focuses on the various issues involved and the methodology adopted at Computational Mechanics.
