Abstract
The mediastinal cysts constitute 18-25% of tumours or tumour-like conditions of the mediastinum. The most frequent are bronchogenic, enterogenous, pericardial, lymphatic, and non-specific cysts (Morrison,1958; Vidne and Levy, 1973; Luosto etal., 1978; Ovrum and Birkeland, 1979; Sabiston and Oldham, 1983; Davis et al., 1987)
