Abstract
An automated computer controlled analyser has been developed for the determination of adsorption and desorption characteristics of ion exchangers used for protein separations. The analyser is capable of performing a range of tasks including continuous monitoring and control of solution parameters such as pH, conductance and temperature while measuring concentration of substrates with an integrated UV detector. Measurements with protein adsorption and desorption kinetics are illustrated.
