Abstract
The moleculear dynamics of CS2/CC14 mixtures has been studied by means of far infrared, Raman, and depolarized Rayleigh spectroscopy. From the calculated time correlation functions we have obtained five different correlation times as a function of the composition of the mixtures. The physical interpretation of these times is based on a comparison between the interaction induced short-range times and the collective times following a more long-range collective dynamics.
