Abstract

Adult high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C), and triglyceride (TG) levels are the product of numerous factors and may significantly influence cardiovascular morbidity. A general aim of pharmacological treatments is that of reducing plasma TG, as well as of increasing HDL-C levels.
