Abstract

The experimentally observed correlations in deoxygenated (irradiated) crystals between defect flux pinning, anomalous magnetization, double-step behavior of the power-law current-voltage characteristic (CVC), and the field-induced crossover of the irreversibility line in the H-T plane vs. magnetic field, oxygen deficiency, and irradiation damage are discussed via a model of granular superconductor with defectmediated grain boundary weak links.
