Abstract

As is stated in the Introduction to this paper (ยง1), our main aim has been to set up and examine the properties of theoretical models of exploited fish populations as a means of gaining a further understanding of the dynamics of commercial fisheries, with special reference to the principles and methods of fishery regulation.
