Abstract

All that exists is either something that has not been created or that has been created. There is third condition, (or to put it another way, all that exists is either something that has not been created, or something that has been created, or Nothingness.) For Nothingness is the negation of one and the affirmation of the other; consequently, there is no third possibility. Whatever is not something, that has been created, that is something created. There is no third state of existence in thought, concept, or speech.
