Abstract
The Yohkoh Satellite has been providing excellent data since its launch on August 30, 1991. In addition to some remarkable new findings about flares, one of the surprises of the mission is the finding of pronounced dynamical behavior of the corona. Full details of this dynamical behavior are revealed by the high and regular cadence, high sensitivity observations by the Soft X-ray Telescope aboard Yohkoh. Some of the initial results concerning the coronal dynamical behavior obtained to date are reviewed.
