Abstract

The problem of constructing adequate fuzzy inclusions goes far out of the bounds of decision-making. Fuzzy inclusion represents one of the basic tools in Fuzzy Set Theory. An intuitive motivation of the necessity of a comprehensive study of this topic is a need for “soft” models of inclusion between fuzzy subsets (and, maybe, even between crisp subsets), satisfying the continuity requirements.
