Abstract
We present observations of molecular hydrogen emission lines from several sources of shocked molecular gas including the Orion outflow and HH 7. We discuss these observations in terms of current theoretical shock models and demonstrate the shocks are of either simple Jump-shocks or possibly bowshaped Magneto Hydro-Dynamic Continuous-shocks, but are inconsistent with plane parallel C-shocks.
