Abstract

Thanks to technological developments of detector arrays, it has been possible recently to built cameras dedicated to observations in the 10 μm atmospheric window. With these cameras, it is now easy to have access to the full angular resolution capability of 3 m class telescopes: 0.7 arcsec (the diffraction limit).
