Abstract

For particular values of the atomic flight time through the two photon micromaser cavity, if the atom is polarized, the field evolves to a pure state made of a superposition of even-photon number states or odd-photon number states. As the upper limit of the trap micromaser, these states approach a perfectly squeezed state.
