Ultrasonography in cases of phthisis bulbi

Abstract

Since 1985, in the Department of Ophthalmology, Medical University of Debrecen, we have examined 52 patients with ultrasound with the diagnosis phthisis bulbi. We used both the A-scan and B-scan methods. Previously the examinations were carried out with a Sonometrics Ocuscan DBR 400 and CooperVisionDigital B IV equipment.
