Abstract
The main part of this lecture concerns work announced in Ref. [1]. The last part contains some new results, not previously reported. We have investigated the scattering and bound states of a nonrelativistic and relativistic spin-1/2 particle in the system of N magnetic barriers (or magnetic wells). We have studied two types of problems: tunnelling with spin and band structure.
