Abstract

For five months during 1989 the BMA library carried out a bibliometric study. This was done with a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation. The aims of the study were to ascertain:

  • Who uses the BMA Library?

  • How do they contact us?

  • What do they ask for?

  • What do they receive?

  • How is it sent out?

  • How good is our service?
