Abstract
The purpose of this work, carried out within the European community Joule Program, is to collect new reliable experimental data of phase equilibria of synthetic mixtures a supercritical or near critical solvent, water and an organic product to be recovered from the aqueous solution. These data are required for the development and quantitative testing of predictive phase equilibria model, including generalized group contribution models, to be applied near the critical conditions of one or more component mixture. The experimental apparatuses used to perform the experimental measurements are described together with some results obtained.
