Additives and modifiers for cyanate ester resins

  • Chapter
Chemistry and Technology of Cyanate Ester Resins

Abstract

Other chapters in this book are concerned with the mechanism of cure of cyanate esters (CE), kinetics, processing and the structure-properties relationships. However, all these results mainly concern pure cyanates. The major uses of these polymers are in the electronics industry (printed circuitboards) and in the aerospace industry with a market of 70 and 30%, respectively [1].
