Abstract
The Surface Coatings Industry produces many generic types of coatings involving the use of an enormous number of ingredient raw materials. While many paint manufacturers produce a restricted number of generic surface coatings, they still use many different raw materials. Though most are chosen and incorporated because of specific physical properties they are regarded in the market-place and by regulating authorities, as chemicals.
