Abstract
In the following Chapters 15–16, we will study in detail the convolutions for the index transforms mentioned in Chapters 6–10. In spite of their non-convolution structure, these transforms have convolutions based on the convolution for the Kontorovich-Lebedev transform which were first announced as an example in V.A. Kakichev (1967) and investigated in detail in S.B. Yakubovich (1987a), (1987b). Related convolutions have been investigated in H.-J. Glaeske (1981)–(1987) and H.-J. Glaeske and A. Heβ (1986)–(1988) in the spaces of generalized functions.
