Abstract

A list of the known ant-lion fauna (Neuroptera: Myrmeleontidae) of Turkmenistan is given. It includes 25 genera and 53 species, among which the most common are Acanthaclistis pallida, Myrmecaelurus varions, Lopezus fedtschenkoi, and Maracanda amoena. Distribution of ant-lion species in the deserts, mountains, and river valleys of Turkmenistan is discussed.
