Abstract

In this review, fullerene intercalation compounds are described in the context of other, better-known guest-host solids, e.g. layer intercalates and doped conjugated polymers. The structural chemistry is described in detail, with emphasis on disorder phenomena. Recent progress in establishing structure-property relationships, and the closely-related problem of phase equilibria, are presented.
