Abstract
In this book, we have discussed contemporary stage of the development of quantum theory as the most important basis of modern physics from the point of view of methods used in quantum optics. It is worthwhile to mention that quantum optics originally representing an application of quantum electrodynamics and particle physics, was able to create new powerful mathematical tools, such as coherent-state technique, and experimental interference and coincidence methods which are so effective in investigating the fundamental concepts of quantum theory.
