Abstract
Two dimensional plane problems are those in which the regions of interest are bounded by plane curves. Their corresponding integral equations will be termed boundary integral equations. Although ordinary integral equations (as Chapter 1 showed) can be solved analytically, boundary integral equations can only be effectively solved numerically.
