Abstract
The Galactic Center is the nearest example of a galactic nucleus. It presents therefore an excellent opportunity to study the details of the processes which might be important in nuclear activities. In this paper, we review first some of the more recent results of interferometric studies of extragalactic nuclei. A variety of phenomena can be seen at the 100 pc scale, including rings, spiral arms, bars, and jets. In the Galactic Center, however, we can begin to study phenomena at the 1 pc scale. Here, we present some of the latest evidences on how the material in the central parsec might be connected to the disk.
