Abstract
The spectral response of an infrared system is determined by the spectral behaviour of all its optical and opto-electronic components, i.e., the spectral transmittance of the absorbing materials, the spectral reflectance of the reflecting materials, the spectral properties of the surface-treated materials, the spectral transmittance of filters and the spectral response of the radiation detector.
