Abstract

After reviewing the current state of the art in auditing, this section looks to where auditing will be in the next 10–20 years.

What changes will be required to maintain its usefulness in the TQM environment?

If audit is to be continued how will it be applied under this management environment? This question is discussed and suggestions made on the way the audit process will evolve.
