Abstract

The raw material property/manufacturer tabulations (Product Tables) to be found in Part Two: Databook Section, are classified under ten main product headings, separated by divider pages. Each of these ‘product sectors’ is then sub-divided as indicated below. Each sub-division begins with an alphabetical list of the manufacturers supplying within that sector (together with HQ location by country), plus respective trade names (as appropriate) and an enumeration of the Product Tables that apply. These are consecutively numbered by a final, third digit, so providing an optimum code reference for identification. Introductory or other notes which for example classify and rank (by weave, tex or modulus) the materials listed in some product sectors, are included as appropriate.
