Abstract
Phase-transfer catalysis (PTC) offers many excellent opportunities for conducting oxidation reactions using inexpensive primary oxidants such as oxygen, sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, electrooxidation, permanganate, periodic acid, and others. Reviews on including the use of PTC oxidations have been published [1,2].
