The principles of tape casting and tape casting applications

  • Chapter
Ceramic Processing

Abstract

Although the title of this chapter is ‘The principles of tape casting and tape casting applications’, it is important to provide background information on other competing processing technologies which are currently used to form thin sheets of ceramic materials. These will be discussed in the introduction, since the bulk of the chapter will be devoted to the subject of tape casting.
