Abstract

At present, we are unable to identify which women will inevitably develop breast cancer, but factors associated with an increased risk include a history of a previous breast cancer, a strong family history of breast cancer, and previous breast biopsies which demonstrated in situ breast cancer or atypical proliferative lesions.
