Abstract
IUH (Instantaneous Unit Hydrograph) of a channel network is still a tool for defence from floods and floodplain management. In this subchapter, the geomorphological IUH, which is the hydrological aspect of the problem, is combined with the diffusive approximation of momentum equation which is the hydraulic aspect. Thus an attempt is made for the derivation of IUH of a topologically random channel network.
