Abstract
The title of this text refers to the “concerned public”. But who is the concerned public? There is no simple answer to this question. When I hear the word “public”, I think of consumers, for instance, or voters or politicians — or, for that matter, the PR agents, the political parties and all the interest groups that focus their attention on a single issue.
