Abstract

The theme of the 1994 EBEN conference addressed the critical issues in the relationship between a corporation and the public, the impact these issues have on business policy and the management of relationships to external groups in an efficient and ethically responsible way. The aim of this paper is to illustrate these themes from the standpoint of companies managing hazardous technology in society.
